Had a wonderful day today! Got up early, ran late to set, got done early and had an amazing time with Mark Davis, who has worked with me on SexAndSubmission.com for Kink.com. We got to get down without rope or whips today and it was amazing. I’m still a bit spun. I’m very excited about the launch of my paysite. Shooting with all of my favorite people in order to get content has been such an experience in and of itself.

Although the shoot today was all about me being a femme fatale being a completely dirty girl, it was certainly very D/s based. I’ve never interacted with Mr. Davis any other way. I reflected on that afterwards. I suppose I could’ve been mouthier or played a character or whatever, but there was a reason it wasn’t scripted.

Having TMS and Steen right there was awesome and a little awkward, but that’s why I wanted Mr. Davis there so I could just focus on him.

Directing and subbing at the same time is really hard. Not as hard as subbing and topping at the same time, but difficult. All I can really do is put the best people I know together at the same time and then go with it. Working with people I really like, trust and that know what they’re doing is my formula and I think that it’s working.

And in case I haven’t mentioned it before, Mark Davis is my favorite dude porn star ever. Ridiculous. I’m not sure if it’s the accent or that he’s confident enough to pick me up by the throat. Hey y’all! I’m safely in London and loving every minute of it! I got to the hotel yesterday and promptly fell asleep. This weekend was amazing. I shot with Matt Williams out in Lancaster and had a great time. Hot, windy and dusty, but we got amazing footage and I can’t wait to see the movie once it’s done. We have to get one pick-up, but it’s just me, so no big deal.

Only 2.30 and it’s already been a long day.
Talked to Matt Smith on the phone last night for half an hour or so. It got a bit heated, but not in a negative way. I don’t think that he understands the argument beyond semantics, but that’s OK. I really just tried to emphasize that my opinion was based on 3 different facets of personal experience. My private life, my professional life and my non-consensual experience. Even if you take one of those facets off the table, I think my theory remains standing. Torture is not inherent in the act itself, but in the intent of both parties.
He made very clear that his is an opinion column, namely his own, and I’m not exactly anticipating what his opinion of me will be. He seemed much more interested in asking me biographical information than the topic at hand, and some of his questions were inflammatory. I was rather inflammatory, as well, because I think using Melissa Farley as a serious reference is ludicrous.
Because of my consensuality stance.
Blah.
We’ll see.
He did ask make one statement that bothered me, and I’m still not sure if he was testing me to see if I had a sense of humor, or was being serious. He said that he was surprised that his article got so much attention because he assumed that people who could take so much pain would have thicker skin.
I chalk the attention to kinksters being highly communicative people.
Or maybe we just have too much time on our hands.

Procrastinating, as usual. My best friend from high school and beyond is in town. She’s going to head over to Ken Marcus’ with me. Chad Rock and Erin Sinclair are on the menu! Gonna practice my rope work. I’ve been getting better. It’s easier to put the ideas in my head in practice now, but I’m nowhere near where I’d like to be. Bodies are so random and unique and learning what works and what doesn’t is a process. I don’t think that it can be taught.
I’m going to work on suspensions today. I’ve done a couple, but need to get more comfortable with it. Body weight distribution is making more sense to me, and I’m certainly much faster than I was when I started, but I have a long, long way to go.
I’m grateful that there are people willing to let me practice on them! And that Ken is willing to take pictures. Seeing what I’ve done is helpful, as well. Hindsight is, as usual, 20/20 and I get awesome ideas when I look at content I’ve made.
Tomorrow is the dentist. I totally love my dentist. Getting a cleaning and making an appointment for my back crowns. I’ve probably spent the same amount of money on the dentist as I have on college. I suppose it’s the American Way.
Booked my flight for London! I’ll be over there the 14th-18th and may extend. I really want to go to Amsterdam, but I know that I’m prone to homesickness and don’t want to push it. I hate being away from Varla and TMS. My birthday is on the 16th, though, and it will be nice to be out and about with the perverts.

Wow. What a busy weekend! TMS and I spent Saturday napping and intending to watch Dr Who. I headed over to The Ivy Manor in the early evening to visit with Isabella Sinclaire regarding some exciting plans she has for the future of The Ivy Manor. In addition, I solidified some plans for my next few films, my trip to Europe and decided to start taking private sessions.

My shoot with Dia was far too fun and far too short. I did suspend her and she said it was comfortable, so I’m happy with that. I’ve threatened Ken with coming over and tying up models in front of his camera ad nauseum and he didn’t throw anything at me or run, so perhaps I’ll have some examples of my rigging soon.
